Hand Painted Rio Floor Lamp
The Rio, redrawn at 68 inches — clad smooth in claypaste so the surface can be hand painted.
The Rio began as a table lamp. This is its floor-standing translation — the same profile, redrawn at 68 inches.
The body is clad in our signature claypaste and worked smooth. The evenness is deliberate: the piece is hand painted afterwards, and the paint needs an uninterrupted surface to run across. What texture remains is the claypaste's own, held just beneath the colour.
Mild steel gives the structure. Everything else is worked by hand.
Because each is painted individually, no two are identical. We treat the palette as open — neutrals that recede, or a single saturated tone that holds the room. Specified at the time of order.
