Totem Floor Lamp
A leaner totem in two colours, where the break between them becomes the object's defining line.
One of the leaner forms in the totem series. The body is built in sections and stacked by hand, with several elements finished in our in-house signature claypaste to hold texture against the smoother surfaces. Mild steel forms the base and internal pipe.
What distinguishes this piece is its dual-colour composition. Most of our totems resolve in a single tone; here two colours meet across the stack, and the break between them becomes the object's defining line. We had worked monotone long enough that the shift felt necessary.
At 5'6" the lamp reads as a floor-standing sculpture that happens to light. The 14" shade sits above a narrower 10" base, giving the form its taper.
