Clay Chandelier

A chandelier in clay rather than glass — the width of one, without the drop.

A chandelier built from clay rather than glass or metal — stoneware forms suspended from a mild steel frame, the pipe itself sheathed in our claypaste so the structure reads as part of the object rather than as hardware.

At 26 inches as the module height and 29 inches across, it takes the width of a chandelier without the drop. That proportion suits rooms with ordinary ceiling heights, where a conventional fixture would hang too low to sit under.

The forms are made individually and arranged at assembly, so no two are configured identically.

We designed it to be a statement in form while staying quiet in material — matte and tactile, absorbing light rather than refracting it.

Handmade to order in specified colours and finishes.
